If you're reading this, you probably found us through a Google search, a neighbor's recommendation, or a hot upstairs bedroom. Whichever way you got here, welcome. We're glad you found us, and we want to introduce ourselves properly.

Lucky Duck Insulation is a family-owned, Suncoast-based insulation company. We started this company because too many Florida homeowners were paying way too much to cool a house, usually because the attic above them was 130°F all afternoon and the insulation between that attic and their living room had given up years ago. That's a fixable problem. It's a problem worth getting good at fixing. And it's the only thing we do.

Why "Lucky Duck"?

We named the company Lucky Duck because every Florida home deserves a little luck on its power bill, and the duck is one of nature's best insulation experts.

And also, isn't Lucky Duck a much more fun and memorable name than something boring like Florida Insulation or Suncoast Insulation?

What we believe

We're a small, focused crew, and we built this business around five things we promise to do on every single job:

• Tell the truth. If your insulation is fine, we'll say so. If you don't need the upsell, we'll tell you. The fastest way to lose a customer for life is to sell them work they didn't need, so we don't.
• Show the work. Before-and-after photos, R-value math, and a written quote you can read in a minute. Total transparency, every time.
• Leave it cleaner than we found it. Drop cloths, vent protection, vacuumed worksite. Every job, no exceptions.
• Stand behind it in writing. A workmanship warranty you can actually use, not buried in fine print. If something isn't right, we come back and make it right.
• Be on time. If we say Tuesday at 9, we're there Tuesday at 9. If something changes, we call before you do.

What we actually do

Our menu is intentionally focused. We don't do roofs, we don't do HVAC, we don't sell solar, we install insulation, and we install it well.

• Attic Insulation. The single highest-leverage upgrade for almost every Florida home. Bring your attic up to R-30, R-38, or R-49.
• Blown-In Insulation. Loose-fill fiberglass or cellulose blown into attics for full coverage across rafters and joists.
• Garage Door Insulation. Stop a 130°F garage from heating attached living space.
• Insulation Removal. Settled, soaked, or rodent-damaged insulation? We vacuum it out cleanly.

What to expect when you call us

You'll talk to a real person, not a scheduling robot. We'll ask a couple questions about your home and the rooms that feel hot or cold, and we'll book a no-pressure home assessment, usually within 48 hours.

At the assessment, we'll spend 30 to 45 minutes inspecting your attic, photographing trouble spots, measuring your existing R-value, and looking at your ductwork. Within a day or two, you'll get a written quote, itemized, and we'll work with you to find the best rebates and incentives that may apply. If you don't want the work, that's fine. We'll never call to "follow up" five times. Once is enough.

If you do go ahead, most jobs are done in a single day. We protect your floors and vents, leave the worksite cleaner than we found it, and walk you through before/after photos when we're done. The warranty is in writing.
