From historic downtown bungalows to Bay-front condos.
Sarasota homes range from historic Burns Court bungalows and 1950s ranches in Indian Beach to downtown high-rise condos and new builds in Hidden Forest. Whatever yours is, it's fighting the same daily battle: long cooling season, brutal humidity, and an attic that bakes from sunrise to sunset. We've insulated homes from St. Armands Circle to Fruitville Road, and we know the quirks of every era of Sarasota construction.

Sarasota's mix of older bungalows (1920s to 1950s) and newer infill creates a wide range of insulation conditions. Older homes often have minimal or no original attic insulation, sometimes vermiculite, which we test before any work. Newer Lakewood Ranch-area builds typically have builder-grade insulation just barely meeting code. Either way, there's almost always significant comfort and bill savings on the table.
Start your free Sarasota assessment“We bought a 1950s Sarasota Indian Beach house with the original insulation, basically dust at this point. Lucky Duck did a full removal, sealed the attic, and blew in fresh fiberglass to R-38. Power bill dropped almost $200 the first month. Best money we've spent on the house.”Diane K. Sarasota, FL

Some Sarasota homes from the 1940s through 1970s have vermiculite insulation, which can contain asbestos. We always test vermiculite before any work. If it tests positive, we refer you to a asbestos abatement specialist and resume our install once the attic is cleared.
